Major problems with items and bags

Since I used the grill to make some grilled cheese sandwiches (the ingredients disappeared but I got no sandwiches), I haven't been able to move things around in my bags, I can't drop them and I can't buy anything - the currants go but nothing appears in my bags. I can't eat anything either. I have tried rebooting - the game, the browser, my laptop. Help!

Oh, and I have tried moving to a different street too - still no joy.

I have also had intermittent issues with moving or dropping items. I think it might be lag.
