Is there a way to make it go away?

The letter should only popup when you're in Groddle Heights. I don't believe there is a way to make it disappear, unless leaving the region is what you'd consider an escape.

Once upon a time when there were many Glitchen, we would gather and make funny things with them. Being mostly alone in game now, the letters appear quite odd.
