 Thanks for reporting. This was an intentional break. We disabled the user inventories because it seemed like there might be an issue with server stability related to that feature. I plan to look further into this over the next week as I get a chance.

Just an update here. Over the weekend I "turned the inventory feature back on". I no longer beleive it is responsible for the server instability.

That being said, we are still having issues with the server. I am trying to watch it carefully and fix bugs as I can find them. If you find that you can talk in chat but cannot do much else, the server probably needs a reboot. The best way to get my attention about this is to post a bug/suggestion in the in-game dialog at the top right.
